Media fail: Wake up Channel News Asia!

In business news, there has been a lot of attention given to Singapore’s Neptune Orient Lines, a company that has received international accolades for its innovative business approach, customer-focused strategies and IT capabilities.

For example, late yesterday Channel News Asia ran this article;

Whilst congratulations are in order for Mr. Sartini and Mr. Corbel, they should not expect a warm welcome from Bryan Lim!

They might also have problems getting to work on their first day if they hop into taxis and request a ride to “the NOL building”, proudly showing the driver the photo used in the Channel News Asia article.

You see, unbeknownst to CNA’s editors, NOL sold the building to Fragrance Regal Pte Ltd way back in 2012. The NOL staff subsequently moved to the company’s new address at the Metropolis in 2014.

Today the NOL headquarters looks like this;

We can  only hope that Sartini and Corbel find the NOL office without too much trouble.

After all, unless they hold PhDs, the Singlish is going to stress them already lah.
